Just trying to catch up on some recent happenings from March and April...
Family Time!
Nana and Pops came to visit during Nana's spring break in March. David and I were able to get away for a night and they kept Colton - so nice to take a mini-vacation...especially one that started with a prenatal massage (just for me, not David)! We look forward to more get away trips in the future!
On our getaway night we went to Ikea for the first time and brought home a table, chairs, and drawing paper for Colton. I totally pictured finding him quietly coloring away at his table during our time at home, but that hasn't happened yet. Still holding out hope...

Our rule is "the crayons stay at the table" ...and somehow we've managed to have crayon markings on the wall and floor next to the table. :)
Colton loves supervising projects...Pops is putting together a set of cubbies for Sadie's closet.
Nana and Pops got Colton an awesome slide/sports plaything. Again, here he is supervising the project!
Trying it out for the first time
Colton's first dunk! Now the slide resides in his bedroom and its so cute to hear him climb up the rock wall and swoosh down the slide!
Isn't the box always more fun than the toy that came in it?!
Playgroup and Friends!
We hang out with other babies Colton's age each Thursday (and as often as we can, other days of the week!)...
Playgroup moms and babies after the egg hunt
Running around at the arboretum
At the zoo with Janey and Kennedy (Ford not pictured)
Colton and Janey checking out the ducks in the Children's Area at the zoo
This was our 2nd trip to the zoo and he loved it, but you can't tell by his face in this picture...very difficult to get a smile out of him for pictures. :(
Splashing with Kennedy after working on fun art projects at her house
Colton and Mia playing with the doors
Fun at the lakehouse and first trip to the Ranch!
Daddy thinks its funny to make Colton look dorky with his pajama shirt tucked in and socks pulled up to his knees.
This boy did NOT want to take off his life jacket, so we put him to work in the yard mowing the grass...with the life jacket still on.
Getting sleepy...
OUT! After fishing and mowing the lawn, it was time for a snooze on the wagon ride.
With BoPa after waking up from his wagon ride nap, love those blue eyes!
Hanging with his cousins, Cooper and Layla, the birthday girl
Watching a movie with Lizzy and Cooper
Fun at Home!
Love his smile!
Daddy builds great snowmen, but Colton wasn't too impressed. He just wanted to be inside the house!
