The Meek Family: Getting Ready...

Colton puts a bear in the swing and says "shhhh-shhhh", then yanks the bear out by the foot. Hmmm...we may have some work to do to discourage him from doing this to his baby sister.

We are in the home stretch to welcoming baby Sadie into this world in 3 days! I'll be having a repeat c-section on Saturday morning at 10:00a.m. It's hard to believe we'll have an infant in a few short days! We had a recent sonogram (at 35 1/2 weeks) and she is measuring BIG - she was positioned sideways/transverse, but my dr. thinks she is head down now. I feel her moving all the time and her little tush is right up under my rib cage and is constantly moving! I've had NO blood pressure problems this time (Praise God!), so its been a very carefree pregnancy....I've felt great and its only been in the last week that sleep is hard to come by!

In preparation for Sadie Lin's arrival we've pulled all kinds of baby gear out of closets and the attic. Colton has been loving every minute of it. I think he truly believes these are all new "toys" for him! As soon as something is set up he climbs in it, over it, under it, puts his bears in it, yanks his bears out of it,...makes me think we'll really have to do some explaining about NOT yanking his baby sister out of these cozy resting spots!...time will tell. :)
