On the Move

We are officially on the move...our little guy started creeping around on his belly a couple of weeks ago and he's perfecting his speed and skills day by day!  

He isn't doing a traditional crawl yet, more like an army crawl/belly slither.  So far he's tried to stick his fingers in an outlet (but they were covered already!), spent some time chewing on a lamp cord, nibbled on a few pairs of shoes, almost ate a bug (took mom a long time to get over that one!), and almost catapulted off the bed a few times.  We've been saying this for a while, but David and I both think he's going to be ALL BOY!

Trying to be a some what of a responsible father, I had to make amends for allowing my son to wear maroon in the previous post. Sic 'em Bears Colton! You look much better in green and gold.

Trip to Oklahoma

Colton had a great time with his aunt, uncle, and cousins this weekend in Oklahoma. We hate that the family moved up north but it was great to see them.

Visits from Nana and Pops

Both Nana and Pops have come to town recently to see baby Colton - and David and Jenny - but we know where we fall on the list!   

Colton warmed up to both of them after sizing them up with some serious looks.  For some reason I didn't have the camera clicking quite as much as I normally do, so we don't have too many pictures of their visits. 

Nana was here for Mother's Day weekend and we had fun sharing the special day with her!  She chose to drive all the way up to Dallas by herself to spend the weekend with us.  :)  We loved our time with her!

7 months

Colton turned 7 months old last week!  We took his monthly pictures in his rocking chair...we found new pj's that we love from baby gap (his surf pj's are pictured below) and old navy.  I'm tempted to leave him in them all day long!
