Life is good...

Here's some cute pictures of Colton we've taken recently.  He's so funny these days...squealing, screaming, rolling all around.  Life is good for this little guy.  Except when he is teething, which we've had the joy of experiencing lately...(more on that in a future post) :)

I love to play the bouncy game.

Just chillin' with my belly hanging out.

Spending time with my BoPa.

Looking sweet.

Talking to mommy and daddy...probably saying something along the lines of "feed me now!"

Dad and I with our bright blue eyes.

On a date with Aubrey (Kamara's daughter).  I think they make a cute couple!

Aubrey is whispering sweet nothings in Colton's ear.  He's too cool to really care.

4 months old today!

Our little guy is 4 months old today!
David and I took him to his 4 month dr.'s appt.
His stats: Weight - 15 lbs, 2 oz (52%)
Height - 25 1/2 inches (70%)

Colton is a healthy baby boy...well, he actually has a bit of a cold right now, but besides that he's good and healthy.  :)  We feel very blessed and are grateful for his clean bill of health.  He is such a joy to us.  David and I sit and marvel at the blessing of raising this sweet boy.   He continues to give us more smiles and loves to chuckle at us...it takes quite a bit of dorkiness on our parts to get him to laugh, but we're willing to be dorks for the reward of his laughter.

Here's a few cute pictures of Colton from the last couple of weeks.

I took this one on my cell phone...we love sitting outside on pretty days.  He loves to lay on a blanket and kick and wiggle!

David and I think Colton is a pretty good mix of both of us...

Love the serious looks he gives.  He's so used to the paparazzi snapping pics of him he usually chooses NOT to smile for us.

He was 100 days old on New Years Day!

Colton LOVES to eat his hands.  He's constantly shoving his fist in his mouth.

Contemplating life...

Mr. Blue Eyes

Whatcha looking at?

Last time in my Pack n' Play (well, last time in it in mom and dad's room)....we had a graduation for him.  :)

Too sweet!

Lots of Firsts

First: Trip to the Lakehouse
Colton scored a C- on his first roadtrip, but since then he's done much better.  We went to the lakehouse mid-December so David could go hunting and we could visit his family.  We had so much fun we went back 2 weeks later!

Family Pic

Colton with cousin Cooper...when Colton cries Cooper loves to tell him "its ok baby Colton"

First: Trip to Houston
We surprised Nana and Pops by showing up a day early.  We left Colton on the doorstep...after 3 knocks (they're slightly hard of hearing) they finally came to the door and were quite surprised to see their grandson!

This is Colton after the long road trip to Houston.

Here's the note Colton was holding on the doorstep when Nana and Pops came to the door.

Here are a few more pics of our time in Houston:

Colton with Daddy...do we look alike?

First: Meeting Great Grandma and Great Grandpa
The pictures say it all...a very sweet time meeting Jenny's grandparents!

First: Christmas
We loved introducing Colton to his Houston family on Christmas Eve.  He got lots of fun toys, clothes, and books from his loving family!

Cousin Hannah loved looking at Colton, - she was very sweet to him and loved to pat him when he was crying.

First: Colton and Daddy go hunting (kind of)
So, Colton didn't really go hunting, but he did don some cool camo to celebrate daddy getting a big buck last Monday night.

Other fun firsts of Baby Colton's:
smile, laugh, chuckle, squeal
rolling over (done this twice a couple of weeks ago -, haven't seen it since!)
sleeping in his big boy crib at night (tonight's the first night - hope it goes well!)
