The Meek Family: 6 fun months with our sweet girl

Our sweet Sadie Lin is 6 months! She is cuddly, adorable, and just plain wonderful. Sadie is so interested in the world around her and seems to just love being a part of our family.

David and I talk about her sweet disposition all the time. She is so calm and relaxed. We know we've been spoiled with this one and are loving her precious baby phase! I want her to stay this age forever. :)

Although she loves being with us, she usually doesn't make it all the way through bible study or church before I get called to come get my crying baby, but we're working on it! She takes a bottle like a champ, even though we only give her a couple a week.

She loves her exersaucer. She's not too sure about her doorway jumper yet. I tell people all the time she is just so chill, so when you put her in the doorway jumper she just hangs out smiling at you! She makes the cutest sounds and gurgles at Colton. She's an expert bubble blower and absolutely loves it when you blow bubbles back at her.

We've just started solids. I was in NO hurry. She started at exactly 6 months. She doesn't seem to like rice cereal, but has so far liked sweet potatoes, bananas, and pears. Didn't really care much for carrots, and she threw the squash up, and we haven't tried it again. :)

The girl chews on EVERYTHING! She's got two cute bottom teeth and I'm certain more are ready to pop through, but only two so far.

We're really going to have to watch her once she starts to move, she already likes to get her hands on her brother's toys. She can roll all over the place (and off of beds), and can scoot pretty much anywhere..., but no actual crawling yet. She continues to surprise me with how quickly she can get to something across the floor.

In the past few days she's started sitting up so well and loves to sit for 15-20 minutes observing everyone around her. We had 3 little girls over today and she loved watching them play.
