Our sweet girl turned 2 months old on July 1st. The days are going by so quickly. We had Sadie's 2 month doctor's appointment today. We've been calling her a chunk, and that she is! She weighed 12 lbs, 13 oz. (90%)! She is quite tall too - 24 1/2 inches (97%). She is bigger than Colton was at 2 months. We adore her chunkiness and cute leg rolls! And her perfectly round face is precious. She is very squeezeable...we just love her.
Sadie endured her first round of shots today (although she did have two rounds of antibiotics via shots in her legs when she was sick). She had a miserable day after the shots...very fussy, but seems to be back to normal now. I tried to give her tylenol this afternoon, but as soon as it was in her mouth she threw it up - along with her previous feeding....all over herself, and me, and her car seat.

Here's what Sadie is up to at 2 months:
*smiling when she sees mommy and daddy's faces or hears our voices
*loves staring up at her mobile
*coos and talks with us
*sleeping so well at night - she typically goes between 8 and 10 hours between feedings (unbelievable blessing to me!)
*taking a couple of bottles
*loves to be held
*starting to really like pacifiers
*prefers her swing and bouncy chair to laying flat
*isn't crying as much as she was a few weeks ago, has been pretty chill lately
*likes to be in the same room as all the action
*is awake much more during the day (she used to sleep A LOT)
*can sleep through just about any amount of noise Colton can make
*has at least one blow out every couple of days...I don't remember Colton doing this, so it keeps taking me by surprise!

*wearing lots of cute little girl outfits - fits in to most of the 3-6 month clothes in her closet!
We just love the gift of Sadie and Colton in our lives. Our lives are much richer, sweeter, and fuller with these two little ones. Thanking God for allowing us to parent them and watch them grow!
