Snowy fun

We woke up to a beautiful white landscape about a week and a half ago. The kids were so excited to see snow! It was fun to get such an early snow, and I certainly hope we get more in the next few months. We had two fun days of playing outside in the yard before it started to melt.
We headed out at 7:30 to play in the snow (I love my earlybirds!).
Sadie's not too sure at this point.
They're both trying to perfect their fake smiles. They squint their eyes and smile really big. I guess Colton's been giving Sadie lessons!
Colton's squinty eyed look is so funny!
Our sweet little snow bunny!
Colton gets outside (snow or no snow) and loves to run from one side of the yard to the other, back and forth....he loves for us to chase him too....exhausting!
His sweet, natural smile!
After our morning fun in the sun we bundled up again when daddy got home from work.
Sadie decided to spend some time on the porch since daddy was throwing snowballs.
Digging up snowballs
The camera kept me safe from the onslaught of snowballs
Daddy turned on his teammate and threw one at Colton
After the snow had a second to soak in, he got pretty upset that it was dripping down his shirt
Sadie decided to join the snowball fight
Sadie was so bundled up, she could barely move her upper body!
The cold is starting to sink in!
This is when I warned David not to get her...
but he decide to anyway! poor baby girl!
Here's to hoping for more snow sometime in the next few months!
